In the Daytona, our local dues will be defered until June.  Here is a quote from Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtor's Treasurer, David Wyant.  "With the increase in membership, we can afford to give the members a six-month break on their local dues."

We will still get a bill in December but for only the FAR dues and NAR dues.  Our local dues will not be billed until June.

What do you think and are any of the other associations in the country doing the same for their professionals?

Nice!!! I wish our association would do the same. Maybe I'll bring it up  to them!

With the home sale drop in Florida and more of the same next year the Board probably thought it better to keep membership and differ dues than loose a large chunk of membership.

The new Fed Chariman took it too far with his interest rate increases and hurt the real estate industry.
