Mayne Island Real Estate news as some of you know I went to Mayne Island on Wednesday and it was a fun trip. Cool island not what I had remembered but the last time I was there I was four so it has been a while.

I signed up a new listing on Mayne on Edith Point Rd. Which is on the west side of the island and looks out to Vancouver. It is very cool low bank west coast house. Big cedar logs, beams, wood floor and a deck to die for. Doris the owner a very sweet lady said she had even seen a pod of killer wales swim right up to the reef out front and try and eat the seals. She actually feeds a pair of Bald Eagles that live in a tree right above the house. She is not leaving the island but is going to buy a place in West Van by where here grandchildren live but will still be staying on Mayne part time with here friend.

It is just so cool there totally different than Salt Spring. The view over the water is just so different that the view over the protected water of the Gulf Islands. Georgia Strait is just such a big body of water. You just have to see it to feel it. I cant really explain it very well.

The person who buys this home is in for a treat. I hope we can become friends I would like to come over and see it in the winter with the storms crashing on the rocks. It's just so cool look at the picture...Oya the price it $759 what a deal on Salt Spring it would be twice that.
