Evelyn loves puppies

OF CHILDREN, DOGS AND LIFE: That Which is Close to the Heart!!!  Obviously, I love my grand-daughter--I love all three grand-daughters; and I get to re-live my joys through six little boy!  THEY ARE WHAT IS CLOSE TO MY HEART.  Evelyn (a/k/a Sweet P) adores animals, and this is only one of scores of photos with her cuddling some critter.  I feel fortunate in that she shows the same sort of affection toward me.

WHAT IS CLOSE TO YOUR HEART?  God, Family and Country; and...  To ask it another way: What motivates you to be a REALTOR®?  Is it the freedom to set your own work hours?  Is it the thrill of the hunt?  Perhaps it is the joy of working with people?  Could it be the opportunity to work around beautiful, creative, innovative and essential things like homes?  Maybe, it is just the money?  What do you say?

Great question, Fred! What inspires me - every day - is the kind look in my mother's blue eyes when she was living her last days. She told me that just by being authentic-self, I can make a difference in someone's life by doing a simple thing from the heart: a warm pause and smile in my eye when greeting them; a cupped handshake to say "I'm sincerely happy to meet you". It's humbling to realize how just a kind word to a clerk or waitress or client or co-worker - just a little more patience in our day - can make a huge difference in how those around you treat others in their day.

That's what inspires me everyday! I hope I remember it tomorrow!
