I like that you added just someone who needs a lift and not just those who are sick. Thanks for reblogging.
Vickie,
Everyone needs a lift every now and then. And, you are just the person to do that! Thanks for reblogging something so meaningful. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Juli, I am a breast cancer survivor and I will put your friend in my prayers. This is such a horrible thing (any kind of cancer). We must also pray for a cure for all cancers. I don't know if this works, but here it is. This was sent to me when I was told I had cancer.
Asparagus and Cancer
As a biochemist I am convinced of the old saying that `what cures can prevent.' Based on this theory, my wife and I have been using asparagus puree as a beverage with our meals.
The last blood survey, taken by a medical doctor who specializes in the nutritional approach to health, showed substantial improvements in all categories over the last one, and we can attribute these improvements to nothing but the asparagus drink...
As a biochemist, I have made an extensive study of all aspects ofcancer, and all of the proposed cures. As a result, I am convinced that asparagus fits in better with the latest theories about cancer. Asparagus contains a good supply of protein called histones, which are believed to be active incontrolling cell growth. For that reason, I believe asparagus can be said to contain a substance that I call cell growth normalizer. That accounts for its action on cancer and in acting as a general body tonic.
Vickie, I'm so thankful that you reblogged this. What a wonderful think to share. Cancer sucks and anything that we can do to help our friends keep pushing forward is great!
Vicki- I love this blog! Being well into my 50's now, more and more people I know are being diagnosed with cancer. thank you for reposting.
Vickie, I have always believed that the cure for cancer comes from something that God created...a vegetable, fruit, and even plankton or the skin of some tropical fish. We just have to figure it out!
Vickie, that's a good survival kit that would come in handy for all sorts of situations! Thanks for sharing!
Something to look into for those undergoing cancer treatment:
Cleaning for a Reason
Fighting cancer is difficult enough, but living with it is even tougher - and that's where the Cleaning for A Reason Foundation steps in. This nonprofit offers free professional housecleaning, and maid services to improve the lives of women undergoing treatment for cancer - any type of cancer.

Hi Erby~ I was not aware of this Cleaning for a Reason Foundation that provides housecleaning and maid services to improve the lives of women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer! Thanks for posting this here so others may see!
You're welcome. I've been sharing it several places since I found out about it. I hope others share the news of it as well.
So glad Juli shared this with you! I gave this cancer survivasl kit to her years ago when I was the office manager in medical oncology at Swedish Hospital in Seattle. This kit has put smiles on the faces of so many patients. I am now sending one to my very dear step-mother. My sister is now 14 months out as a survivor. I wish it woud just stop!
