Mostly, I work from home, but it was Tuesday - my office meeting day. I always try to attend the office meetings on Tuesdays - and this week, it was almost after 4 weeks, so I headed to the office and after the meeting, I was checking with my colleagues - Hi Hello etc.
She joined us late at the meeting and had to rush for a listing appointment immediately after the meeting - but as always, she had to print some charts for her listing presentation.
My office manager is good at some of these things - but for whatever reason. the 'print' command would not work. The best she could print some blank charts to show the absorption rate. She was very upset as time was running out for her.
I walked by her office and said 'Hello' to her. She looked little worried and turned to me and asked if I could help her. (Thanks to my IT background, I used to help other agents at my office.)
I tried the same trick as my office manager was trying for printing - and of course, I ended up with the same results - so I had to use little bit of my 'expertise'.
I used ctrl-click to open the report in new window and used standard ctrl-p command to print the window - and bingo...she got what she was looking for - all the absorption rate charts printed in no time and she was on her way to her listing appointment in no time.
She wanted those charts for her presentation to show the difference between her and other agents.
Yep, my wife was little upset as I reached home little late for lunch - but..I guess, I did what I thought was best for her.
(I am likely to see her new listing in MLS next week...)
