Pay It Forward: Operation Homefront
Today I visited the Dollar Tree store in our town to pick up a few items. While shopping an announcement was made. Dollar Tree has partnered with Operation Homefront to collect toys for local military families.
There is a special need in our area for Christmas stockies for area military families. My husband and I picked up a couple of nicely decorated stockings, paid for them and dropped them in the collection box at the front of the store (that was already OVERFLOWING with other gifts). How easy is that? We were in and out in just a few minutes.
Dollar Tree will be collecting toys and other needed items through December 6th. They have a goal to collect 6 million toys! Happy Holidays!
