Two days ago we honored our veterans with a special holiday and rightly so. I took my husband, who is also a veteran, to dinner. We spoke of how thankful we are for this great country and for the wonderful freedoms that we enjoy. Our freedom comes at great cost. Our hearts are filled with deep gratitude for all who have served, who are now serving and who will serve to preserve the blessings we enjoy in this great country! May God be with all of them and with America always.
Thanksgiving is just around the corner with more opportunities for us to focus on the many blessings for which we are grateful. In spite of economic trials and difficulties, we all have been blessed abundantly in this great country. Let's wake up every morning with thankfulness in our hears and go to bed each night with gratitude for he blessings of the day. I can think of no surer way to find happiness in our lives no matter what the circumstanves are!
