When I first moved to the Pinehurst, Southern Pines area, I didn't think we had enough restaurant choices. Now, there are plenty from which to choose, and it's hard to decide when making dining plans.
Recently opened is Fratello's, an Italian style restaurant. In fact, when I met a friend there for lunch on Friday, she said she felt like she was in a New York restaurant.
I had been told the service wasn't very good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the attentive service we received. Our waitress even apologized for bothering us too much because we kept talking and didn't look at the menu for a while. No need to apologize for being too attentive.
The food was good, and I will be sure to visit this restaurant when I'm in Southern Pines.
