Is Facebook's New Email System Really Going To Be The GMail Killer?
The rumor is that Facebook is launching its' Facebook Email system on Monday. This is a natural progression of Facebook especially since Facebook's Photo and Events programs are so popular. Facebook says they don't comment on speculation of future products. But TechCrunch and others are saying this will happen on Monday. And check out their invitation to the event below. It looks like email it is.But will it be what unofficially it has been called- "The Gmail Killer"?Or will it become the newest Spam breeding ground?Facebook and Google have been slapping each other back and forth for nearly a year over exporting contacts and leaving one platform for another.TechCrunch says that Facebook is unveiling Facebook email during their special event on Monday.What say you?I won't be jumping on to it because I do all my drafting of my posts in gmail, have my google alerts coming in, calendars for our sellers attached and google documents for our short sale processing and on and on and on not to mention the SEO benefits of many of the Google products.But I suppose if you are on Facebook all the time, it may be the right fit for you.Coach Katerina
