About Port Potomac, Woodbridge VA

Port Potomac Entrance Photos

Port Potomac is one of the new communities being developed along the Route 1 corridor between Dale Boulevard and Route 234. It features a very damatic entry boulevard and wide streets throughout the community. The quote below was taken form the developer's Port Potomac description.

" The entrance to a community tells you much about the quality of life to be found within. Port Potomac greets you with the classic elegance of formal brick structures and manicured green lawns. The white columns and red brick of the Community Center, framed by a unique water feature are a perfect setting for one of the finest community recreational facilities you can find in Prince William."

Port Potomac property value increased 8% in Port Potomac when compared to the 2009 home prices.

Obviously, the fact home prices are 8% over 2009 levels is good news for Port Potomac homeowners.. It is very much in line with recent market reports in other subdivisions that tend to indicate the downward spiral is either ending or ended. A check of the statistics at our Multiple Listing Service confirm that all areas of Prince William County are producing the same results. There are variances, of course, but that is a function of the type of homes and the number and percentage each type in a particular subdivision. The very fact that Port Potomac is a subdivision of detached homes and town homes offers prospective purchasers a wide range of home styles and prices

With home mortgage rates at historically low levels this would be an excellent time for home buyers to return to the market while prices are still much lower than in previous years. Port Potomac is ideally situated for personnel assigned yo both Quantico Marine Corps Base and Fort Belvoir

I just looked at NVAR's statistics for all of Northern VA for October 2010. It is showing 10.92% for all of NOVA since last October. Our area is leading the price recovery :-) Good news for all.
