In one of my previous posts, I shared Hamilton/Halton Real Estate Staging Association Chapter's Charity of choice "Wall's of Hope".
Sera Mansueto, the founder of "Wall's of Hope" was being honoured by Debbie Travis as an unsung hero in Oakville for her generous and hard work in helping families in the Oakville area.
The show "All For One" was taped at the end of August and aired on October 31.
Many of our RESA chapter members were part of the 5 day project honouring Sera .
It was an exciting, exhausting, and educational 5 days.
Here are some pictures of some of our RESA Chapter members. You might recognize some of them.

Linda Graydon from "Soulscape Interiors" was chosen by Debbie Travis as the Design Crew Leader. It was a very stressful 5 days.

Igor from "Restaurant Makeover" was there to lend a hand and he taught Charlene from "Dezigner Digz" and I how to use a Nail Gun.

Here I am Karen Hubert from "Center Stage Design" being wired for sound by the crew. Debbie is checking out our work. The guys stole our nail gun so back to basics.

I am painting a trunk for one of Sera's daughters room. What do you think of this colour? Allison Roberts of "Burloak Home Staging and Decorating" gives Charlene a hand making the bed.

Anne Vernon from "Rooms 'n Blooms" gives Linda a hand. Luisa Giaitzis from "Absolute Simplicity" enjoys painting and Patrick Fornasari from "Studio Linea' was a big help during the project. All members of our Hamilton/Halton RESA Chapter. Thank you for giving of your time for someone very worthy.

Some carrying on with Debbie. Charlene, myself and Allison. Debbie thinks I am short.
The finished product.

The Reveal

Check out Debbie Travis's website to view the episode if you missed it. This was definitely a "stage it forward" project for the Hamilton/Halton RESA Chapter members.

What a fun post and ya'll did it for a worthy cause!

Karen - Thanks so much for posting this. I'm a huge Debbie Travis fan! I met her at a Home & Garden show here years ago, and she had such a great, fun personality - you guys must have had a blast! Egor? Really? Was he as grumpy as he is on Restaurant Makeover, or is that just for the cameras? What a wonderful opportunity, and a great example of giving back, too. I missed the episode, but will definitely watch it online. I love the afters - wow - that wall with all the circles is very cool.
Michelle, It is a worthy cause. Sera is so giving and all the volunteers.
Sally, Igor is such a nice guy. He is only grumpy for the cameras. I learned alot about reality TV.
It was so much fun to be a part of this. Thanks for writing a blog post about it Karen!
Charlene, I can't stop laughing at your mustache. It is great. It was fun wasn't it and you look great!!!
Karen ~ that was so much fun to read the post and see all the photos! I felt like I was there too, since you made the story so interesting. What a great project -- at the end, Sera looks so happy -- and close to tears. Thanks for letting us know about this worthy project.
What a great opportunity for you and everyone from the RESA chapter!
By the way, I, too, am a big Debbie Travis fan. She's surely inspired me in many more ways than she'll ever know.
Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Thanks Maureen, Kathy, Cindy, Tori and Gail,
It was fun but a lot of work. A real learning experience about reality TV. Thanks for all your comments.
Karen,
Great job for such a worthy cause! The place looks amazing! That was a lot of work and so great of all of you to donate your time and talent!
Thanks Linda,
The design was all Debbie Travis of course. We enjoyed it anyway and some of my inventory was used which made me feel good.
Looks like an exciting time was had by all Karen. Thanks for letting us all have a look.
Hi Karen. Great job and how much fun you must have had even though it was a lot of work in such a short time. It is great to see the RESA chapter is going strong in your area. I could not get it up and going here.
Thanks for commenting Janice. It was very exciting.
Hi Isabel, It has been a long time since I've seen you. Are you going to Vegas for the convention? We just take our chapter one step at a time and as long as we are moving forward in some way, it is a success I believe. I have a strong executive. I have included in my executive a VP of Membership, VP of Education and a VP of Public Relations. Adding a charity was a step forward as well.
Take care
