25 Comments on MY BROKER SUCKS! - PART 1 OF 3
As a broker , I had to read this....glad to see it was "tongue in cheek". Be thankful she cares for you:)
Hey You - what are you talking about. Your broker thinks you are a great agent! She's doens't think of you as a victim - or at least she won't let you get away with it for long!!!
Ken, I have had this talk with YOUR broker, and she is not even MY broker, LOL.
You are blessed my friend, and you can tell her I said so....
Hi Ken, I suspect we all take our brokers somewhat for granted. Good selling to you !
Love the tongue in cheek approach. That alone tells me your attitude shift will work wonders.
What kind of attitude is that? Oh... I see it is a bananatude!!! We should all have such "sucky" brokers. Great post.
Good afternoon,
Pat has your post as one of her favorite for the week and I can see why. Sorry I missed it before..you are lucky for having such a "sucky" broker!!
Unfortunately there is no time to sleep if we want to be successful. I feel your pain.
Oh, man. When I saw who you worked for, I was hoping that this was a joke...
I'll read on to see what's next...
Sounds like my broker!
That was great! I"m a Broker so I couldn't wait to hear what you had to say. I too have weekly coaching sessions with my agents that need it...funny thing is, the one that REALLY needed it wouldn't do what I advised, lol. I now walk around with ear plugs in when they are around me. Ha!
Well, about 30 lines into my comment I realized that I created a post. So I"ll just say "good luck" and invite you over to my place for my two cents.
this job could suck up the entire week if you let it...balance is one of the hardest things for realtors to practice. especially when sales are harder and harder to get to closing...we feel like we should always be there "making something happen"
I as a independent broker I agree with comment #6. Many times my agents are in need of a kick in their physiological pants. To often I find thumb sucking not to be very productive.
Like a child who resists the direction of someone who has been there...eventually the light comes on!
I'm looking forward to part 2 and 3. Brokers are not supposed to be our always understanding friends. They are there to push us to greater personal growth and professional success. And sometimes that hard works sucks!
Great post - can't wait for part 2 and 3!! Your broker sounds like she really cares about you - let us know what book she suggested!
Ken - Are all brokers like that? Mine is too.
They say Attitude is 20% what happens to you and 80% what you do with it. I'm a glass half full person so my attitude is pretty upbeat most of the time - and btw, you have a good broker. She wants you to succeed!
