The End of an Era - Phone Books are going by the wayside

By
Real Estate Agent with Realty Texas

According to several news reports, Phone Books will no longer be produced which will save hundreds of thousands of trees.  Long gone are the days where you had to find a magnifying glass to look up a number.  What I do find funny is that the Yellow Pages are still going to be around?  When was the last time you looked in the Yellow pages for an ad or number?  It is so easy to just Google it and find what you need.  I started recycling these books years ago, I thought it was just a matter of time til extinction.

Speaking of other things that have gone by the wayside - telephone booths, newspapers are on the slide, picture tube TVs, eight track/cassette tapes, boom boxes....What else can you think of?
