5 Comments on Applebee's - Not my favorite......but wait
Kristin - I'm with you! Love the idea of airlines at least offering the lowest fare that was available to our soldiers to come home. I know of a couple of soldiers that this has affected recently and it's sad when they can't get home.
Interesting Blog Kristin...
My nephew is in the National Guard and was telling me just this weekend about it and how he had an awesome steak and his girlfriend had a great meal and it only cost them $11.00 since his was free.
I suggested he send them a thank you note. I am glad yo umentioned this.
Applebees was near the top of my list and has been for many years!!
When a troop comes home only on break they should get anything they want because it could be the last time they experience it. Why not be apart of something so special. I would.
Lori - It is very sad when they can't come home. Luckily I have been able to afford to fly my son home. The last minute flights are a killer. Luckily for christmas we got a decent price flight but in most cases he calls on Monday and can come home on Friday...........Not much notice!
Mike - I am so glad your nephew had a wonderful meal at Applebee's!
Jessica - Our soldiers won't ask for anything but I can spot a soldier a mile away even in street clothes. When I see them out I buy them a drink, dinner, dessert something to say Thank you! My son and some buddies recently were at Outback and a family bought their entire dinner for all of them and said Thank you for all you do!
