5 Comments on HAMP Failing To Prevent Delinquency - Is Failure The New Success?
Dave, this is such valuable information for homeowners who are waiting for help with their loans.
Dave: What a horrible cycle...The reason it's not working is because the homeowners are defaulting simply because the job market it still bad...no job....no house payment can be paid even a re-structured one.
Those statistics are staggering Dave............
Dave your last statement says it all..."We should all be offended and alarmed, though, that the administration is claiming success while a program that we are all paying for (in different ways) is failing."
Rebecca - Yes, regardless of one's particular political leanings we should be greatly concerned when our elected representatives and the officials they appoint apply too much latitude to the definition of "truth". I think, though, what upsets me the most is not that there are politicians and government officials that are "truth challenged" (this is ancient history) but rather, in this case, the evidence that the administration and Treasury must clearly believe we are too dumb to spot a boldfaced con job.
