Escondido Homes for Sale

Escondido Homes for SaleI received a Kindle as a gift for my birthday. Are you familiar with the Kindle? It’s the electronic book reader sold on amazon, and you can download all sorts of books and periodicals to preview or read prior to purchase. It’s small--about six inches wide and eight inches tall and it is thinner than all of our real estate files.

I’m an avid reader and I was curious about the Kindle. I wanted to give it a test drive, but I’m afraid that was not an option. I was worried that I might not like reading on a screen and not from a physical book. So, I was a little skeptical when my hubby gave me my gift.

It’s almost like buying an Escondido Home for Sale sight unseen. Would you buy from photos or would you rather go out and see the home, the physical space and the yard?

There are a great many websites where you can peruse all of the Escondido Homes for Sale as well as homes for sale throughout the nation. In fact, 90% of homebuyers these days begin their home search on the Internet. It’s not a bad place to start. You can become familiar with neighborhoods, floors plans, pricing and market data.

But, you cannot stop with the Internet. You cannot click on instant check out and purchase your home—like you can the Amazon Kindle. Once you are familiar with the market (perhaps it’s Escondido Homes for Sale), the best think to do is to contact a local Realtor who is reputable and has good references. This individual can help you prepare for your home search and take you to view homes that are actually available for sale and meet your search criteria.

With the Kindle, I can download any book that I want—just as long as I do not reach my credit limit. With the real estate market and Escondido Homes for Sale, what you see on the Internet may not be what is available. Frequently the data includes homes that are already pending sales or that are currently off the market.

I’m enjoying the Kindle, but like an Escondido Home for Sale, I would have preferred to give it a test drive—to check it out in person and see if it worked for me prior to making the purchase (or in this case, receiving the gift).

In any case, if you are interested in some home shopping for Escondido Homes for Sale, use the interactive map below. Hover your mouse over the little houses to learn more about each property. You can even click on the property to obtain more detailed information. And, you can customize your search if you want to expand your possibilities. If you see anything that appeals to you, please do not hesitate to give us a call.

Glad you love your Kindle..... I was looking for a Escondido home for sale..... maybe I'll go to your site and see what's up.... just curious. My Grandparents had a 20 ac. avocado ranch in Fallbrook for many years....right above Live Oak Park...we were going there in the 50's!  It was almost wilderness!

Melisaa - you are so clever, and this is a terrific analogy. Some things you simply need to touch, feel and test out, and with the inaccuracies in the MLS, particularly for REOs and Short Sales, seeing the reality is, well, the reality.

Hmmmm.  I would recommend an iPad over a Kindle because it has multiple uses and you can get the Kindle app.  I intended the iPad to be more useful than that but the Kindle and iBooks function is truly amazing.  Any machine that can allow you to "carry" around hundreds of books is fantastic.

I've said it over and over to my people, "You just can't buy a home on the Internet." I give them the analogy that I can tell them all about the Grand Canyon. I can show them a million pictures of it too. But until you've seen how immense it is in person, it's just a big hole in the ground.

Hi Melissa,  You know, I "should" test drive the Kindle, but I'm really attached to my books, I hope I'm not here when books are no longer in print.

You are right on the money about internet shopping, there comes a time to move away from the computer and enlist the help of a Realtor(r) - nice analogy.

Although I shouldn’t mind reading a book on something like the Kindle since I read stuff online all the time, when I’m reading something long, I really prefer a book. I hope real books never go out of style, but I think eventually they will.

I’m reminded of the movie “Soylent Green” where the lady was eating strawberry jam with a spoon and obviously in ecstacy. Strawberry jam was a rarity. I hope real books don’t become rare, even the dimestore novels.

I'm thinking about getting the Kindle for my husband. It will help him to keep his little beady eyes off of my new iPad, LOL. I think I can download books to my iPad but quite frankly I'm too busy playing Angry Birds.

The day will come, though, when you can buy a home online. You can already sign docs online for a home. Well, not closing docs.
