Why do we blog?

By
Real Estate Agent with Samson Properties

As I sit here eating a delicious pumpking soup I made yesterday--man is it good, it's a very simple soup, I complicated it by throwing in some seafood!  I think about is it because we feel so self important that we think everyone needs to hear the wisdom we have to share?  Is it some type of cathartic process which helps us come to terms with our career?  Is it purely for web presence so we can get 'ranked' somewhere out there in the nebulous world we call the Internet/world...

I do it for alittle bit of all of the above.  I once laughed at people who blogged and now I find myself being one of those people.  It does help me to release my thoughts, I think I would be a bit more brutal if it was a personal blog, but since my work and life are seemingly intertwined and sometimes indistinguishable, why not just keep it simple.

Today, I meet a client who found me thru my blog, a Realtor from Florida.  We are going to look at 225 Grand St Jersey City, NJ.  It is nice to be working with a professional that understands and respects what I/we do as Realtors.  Now hopefully she and her daighter will like the building enough to rent it!

I blog because it is a release.  I enjoy giving my thoughts and opinions, and I love reading and learning from others.  Now here's a question for you.  Are you really eating pumpkin soup for breakfast?

YES, I am eating it for breakfast, great meal, lots of fiber, and delicious, but I am jaded since I was the chef...

Wow Larry, and you're in Utah, so it's actually 4:13AM, I'd be asleep at this point.  I just returned from a trip to Trinidad (where I'm from), I went to an aunt's house and she made pumpkin soup, I am now OBSESSED with pumpkin soup.  I am at the point where my wife is saying--'pumpkin soup AGAIN.'  No worries MORE for me!  I will be having pumpkin soup for lunch also.

The soup sound great!  I, too, like to eat different types of things for breakfast...not always just traditional breakfast foods.  Will you be having the pumpkin soup for Thanksgiving too?a

You found one of the best reasons to blog...A CLIENT.
