Kathy: I love your posts. The before and after photos are great. I can see a huge impact by just taking down the drapes. Whew. The office looks great and it looks like there is room in the dining room for people. Excellent work.
Good Morning Kathy, excellent photos thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Kathy -- great idea to remove those orange curtains. Now the features are highlighted, and the home has the added benefit of more light coming into the rooms. I love the look of the office and the dining rooms -- your new clients must be thrilled with your staging! The close up shot is beautiful, too.
Kathy - So true. A square, empty room can be very confusing. Defining this room as an office, by bringing in appropriate furnishings and accessories, really takes the guess work out of the equation for home buyers. Were those drapes orange taffeta? Oh dear.
Kathy,
A very wise choice to take down the draperies in each room. The best benefit is now being able to see more of the outside through those very large windows. Also the draperies and sheers were more taste pacific and could have possibly turned off potential buyers. The two rooms look elegant and very roomy now. I'm sure your new Realtor partner was very glad that he hired such a professional home stager like you! You really are exceptional!
You are so right Kathy. It looks like a great home, but just didn't have the pop and warmth that your staging has brought to it. I no longer wonder what room I am looking at. Looks great!
Thanks for the photos. Simple but very elegant dining room
change the lighting and the color choices and even the carpeting looks new again! Great choices.
You did a great job in turning a cold empty room into a show place. The curtains needed to go.
The colors you have used make this room come alive...and yes the orange curtains had to go, even tho I am a die hard Tennessee Big Orange Fan they had to go
Kathy - love what you did with these rooms and yes the curtains had to go. Awesome job as always!
What a difference Kathy - I love the dining room set and the room looks so much better without the curtains! I also love the office and those chairs look perfect in the space. Great job! You should feature yourself!!!
Beautiful, Kathy you do such great work I love looking at your before and after pictures:) I learn
from seeing what you have done, I love doing this business and I love helping people maximize the
selling potential of their homes.
Thank You!
Kathy, you do such wonderful work. Removal of the curtains combined with your furnishing makes such a huge difference!
Great work Kathy - I concur with the above comments regarding the draperies! The rooms look so much larger. The orange colours distracted the eye from the real focal points which are those lovely windows.
Beautiful work as always Kathy. Those curtains made quite a statement before and it was all that the eye looked at. Great call to take them down and open the room.
