Sometimes you need to be colorblind when looking at homes for sale.

Now I'm not judging the former owners of this house, but really?

Wow, never hire a color blind painter.

I mean, it has a great floorplan, great lighting and a nice yard.

How many buyers are going to have the ability to see beyond this kitchen?

Ok, it just needs some paint (or a LOT of paint).

Look at the photo again,  I could live with the odd stained cabinets.  But that pantry door?

Seriously.

That ranks right up there with What the heck were they thinking???

Most people would look at that and think they needed a new kitchen, but it is a pretty small kitchen to replace the cab's... This is one of the scenarios that a few bucks invested would yield thousands in the sales price!

Terry,

Colors for living in a home and selling a home can be totally different.  I would be nice to catch this type of issue at the home-staging point in the marketing.  As you said it can make a big difference.
