NOTE: The only form of race registration will be online through the Lansdowne HOA website. In order to properly plan for this year's event, registration will only be open through Monday November 22, 2010. Also, please note that there will be NO race day registration.
Proceeds from this year's race will benefit LAWS (the Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter), a facility which opened in March 1985 to provide temporary emergency shelter, food and emotional support to women and their children who were escaping domestic violence and abuse. The Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter (LAWS) needs a new shelter.. Last year they had to turn away more than 40 women and their children because there simply was no room for them at their aging 12-bed Leesburg facility. That meant they had to say "sorry" to one out of every three women who had come to them looking for somewhere to sleep and feel safe.

Annual Meeting / Board of Directors Election:
The Lansdowne HOA Annual Meeting will be held tomorrow, November 16th, at the Potomac Club Ballroom. Registration will begin at 6:00 PM and the meeting will start at 7:00 PM. The primary business is the election of two members to the Board of Directors. The Annual Meeting agenda is available below. Homeowners who choose to vote in person during the Annual Meeting MUST have a valid, government-issued ID card with them in order to register.
