When we were in Pittsburgh to see family we got to enjoy the tree lined streets that were so colorful. The brisk chill in the air made your cheeks rosy. Halloween is now over and Thanksgiving is around the corner. Soon the leaves will fall and the first flakes of snow will fill the air. It will be time to make snowmen and count down the days to when Saint Nick makes his ride. Here today and gone tomorrow!
Good evening Craig,
Pittsburgh has changed so much and it really is a beatutiful city. Love the fall!
Good evening Myrl,
This fall with all the rain we are even seeing more color in our trees!
Good evening Mickey,
Oh I'm sorry..it is a little early..need to wait until Christmas!
Hi Dorie - They look so beautiful for a while and then we have to pay for that beauty with a rake. But I agree with John - give me a rake over a shovel! I think my trees are finally giving up their leaves tonight as the wind is blowing a gale out there right now.
Hi Dorie... I am so disappointed that we do not get autumns like the one in your photo here in Dallas! Oh well... that's one more reason for a long weekend away in the fall! :-)
Good evening John,
I would rather use a rake any day of the week over a shovel!
Good evening Chris,
In your part of the country those gales of wind can get preety strong!
Good evening Steve,
You are right..a get away to get a peek of Autumn can really make a difference!!
Gorgeous, Dorie. And so true. Here today and gone tomorrow. You have to be quick to catch those colors and pretty soon, oh dear, SNOW!!!
We have an outstanding array of color with mother nature's paint brush in Wisconsin...and know that if your travels ever take you this direction...there is always a place at the table and a seat at the bar to welcome you to our home.
Good morning Joni,
Their leaves are so beautiful..growing up in upstate N.Y. I enjoyed many a fall day with vibrant colors!
Good morning Jane,
They will be having snow soon! My brother loves to ski and can't wait to see that white stuff start falling!!
Good morning Sally and David,
I'm sure you do have a colorful array of foliage..if we ever head that direction I will remember your warm words of hospitality!! The same goes if you find yourself heading to Austin!
Dorie,
Cherise and I absolutely love the reddish orange colors of the leaves. It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is upon us next week... g
Good evening Cherise and Gordon,
It is hard to believe and next week will be here before you know it!!
