If you missed the 2010 Sonoma County Wine and Food Affair, maybe now is the time to plan for next year. My friends at wineroad.com had a video made to show how the event was received this year. After watching this video, I'm sorry that I missed it!

Here is some of what I missed ...

Wild Mushroom & Brie Crostini
Wild Boar Bourguignon w/Syrah
Lobster Bisque w/Chardonnay
Acorn Squash Tamales topped with Braised Pork
Duck Quiche w/Pinot Noir

What never ceases to amaze me is the number of folks who come from all over the Country to attend our wine events in Sonoma County. In this video, we have a couple of humorous comments from folks from New York and San Diego. Enjoy!

Denise - make sure you make it to Sonoma County ... Napa gets most of the glory. The atmosphere in Sonoma County is completely different ... much more laid back.

Sea to Sky - I think you'd like it here.

Sharon - the video is great, they do a really good job with the production and the sound quality is super. You're not too far away, just a days drive.

Paul - glad to hear you are a wine drinker ... I wasn't until I moved here 21 years ago. You pretty much can't NOT drink wine here, it's so prevelent.

Alex XXL - if you come out here to visit you'll be saying ... I'm not in Austin anymore. It is so much different than where you are.

Cynthia - Oh wow, you do live in paradise. Good food, great wine and great weather. I've been to Napa, but not Sonoma - didn't realize it was so different. Will definitely try and get up there, and time it with this amazing Wine & Food Affair!
