Birch Hollow walk by the water...I Missed My Wordless Wednesday due to early darkness and a full day of work (on my normal Mid-week day away). Wednesday's work offered a great opportunity to wrap up a few offers and turn them into transactions. I took three hours away from work this week (today) and stumbled upon one of my favorite subjects. I love my Birch Trees...in fact we call our house Birch Hollow.

The sun is going down on Birch Hollow and the Pemigewasset River...Woodstock NH.

Birch tree reflections in a small tributary off the main course of the river.

Getting dark too early...a little white on the top of Mount Liberty and Mount Lafayette - Lincoln NH .

Goodnight to the final rays of the Sun...Good Night Birch Hollow. Friday will be filled with new listings, offers and contracts to complete...it was a nice walk tonight at Birch Hollow, Woodstock New Hampshire.

An Afternoon walk in the woods is my sanctuary when a full day off is a rarity.
I enjoy this time among the trees they soar above the trenches were I spend my days.
These are the photos from where I live, they show why I live here.

Steve, you really have to stop this.  I love birch trees....these are some really terrific photos.  And, everytime you post something like this, it makes me want to get my fanny out there.  You are one lucky guy!  Thanks.

Beautiful photos.  My folks had a wonderful clumb of birch trees in their front yard when we were growing up.  Always loved the white bark.

Steve, Birch Hollow looks cold.  I imagine the temperature is getting on the brisk side up there.

Suzanne...We work just as hard as Realtors in other parts of the Country, we are just lucky to live with this as our backdrop. If you visit it will be hard for you to leave, I came to New Hampshire to attend college that was 30 years ago.

Cindy...As much as I love the Birch trees, a few weeks ago when the foliage was at peak I took this shot along the river...I like the water as much as the birch trees.

Simply gorgeous Steve!  We have been blessed with such beautiful weather this season so far.  I'm happy to not have any snow on the ground just yet.  *Knock on wood!*

Sincerely,

Kathleen

Kathleen..even with mother nature not providing the White Stuff, Our ski resorts intend to open for the season by Thanksgiving, snow guns will be pounding out the white velvet.

Thanks Steve for always bringing me back to a place I love. NH should be on everyone list for places to see because there is so much to see and do. It's no wonder there's so many creative artists and sport minded people in NH who love to climb & ski moutains, hike, and to do so much more with family and friends, or even solo!

Your "Birch Hollow" is quite the paradise!  I love all the photos, but the reflection ones are my favorite.

Sharon...I'm a little surprised how well the camera picks up the reflection, I'll have to bare this in mind on future walks in the woods.
