Residents of West Lampeter Twp. in Southern Lancaster Co. are busy strategizing their exterior holiday decorations . In addition to two tree-lighting ceremonies in two township villages,Lampeter and Willow Street, a front door decorating contest has been launched ! This year the West Lampeter community is focused on the theme of an old fashion country Christmas. Residents will be competing for cash prizes and judging will start on Dec.8th, with winners being announced on Dec.21rst.
The tree lighting ceremonies are scheuled for Dec.2nd in the village of Lampeter and Dec.3rd in the village of Willow Street. L-S award winning marching band will perform carols and refreshments will be available.
