The "Write My Blog" Contest is Officially Over...

And We Have A Winner!

Well, my dear readers, as the old saying goes, "All good thing must come to an end."

And so ends the "Write My Blog" contest.

I want to thank those of you who took the time to submit your captions, and for those of you who wished me well during my illness (health related, not mental!)

Now I just have to say that there were some really good entries, and choosing just one winner wasn't easy.

It's not easy being a judge.

In fact, I had a few that were all winners in my book.

But the Official Rules are the only guidelines I had to go by.

I resorted to putting the finalists names on a piece of paper and had my daughter Laura pick the one.

So, without further ado (cue the drum roll ), the winner is........

Fellow North Carolinian, faithful blog subscriber, Queen of the Localism blog, devoted mother and wife, friend of all living creatures, and all around nice girl.......

And, much like the winner of the Masters in golf gets awarded the "Green Jacket", Amy, as one of her many prizes has been awarded the highly coveted

"Craig Rutman Lucky Sweater"!

Laura - I will definitely have more contests. This one seemed to be well received.

Mary - If I remember correctly you were the winner of one of my first ever contests. But, since you never know what the prize will be, you should always try harder!
