Some days everything just seems to go right - today was one of those really nice days.
I started the day by attending the honor roll assembly at my daughter's school. She had mostly A's and 1 B. The ceremony was very nice honoring the students and their teachers.
I got to have lunch with a good friend then I attended a good workshop where I learned some good information and hung out with my favorite mortgage mama and some other colleagues from EOP Real Estate.
In the meantime, I got a commission check and an application on a rental listing that has been sitting on the market for awhile.
Then I attend a beautiful faculty appreciation event put on by the students in the psychology club where I won the student's choice award. Teaching can be a thankless job so it is really gratifying to feel appreciated by the very people you spend so much time trying to reach.
To top it off, my aunt dropped by unexpectedly with a beautiful bouquet of Thanksgiving flowers.
So often we complain about the bad days we have. I am thankful for the great days like today that re-energize us and give us the strength to face the not so good days.
