Santa is Riding the Rails in Jamestown CA
Santa will be aboard Santa's Express departing from Railtown 1897 State Park in Jamestown every hour between 11 am and 3 pm Friday through Sunday, November 26 to 28. The train featuring Santa will also run on Saturday and Sunday, December 18 and 19. Santa will greet visitors and hand out candy canes. There will be live music provided by Railtown's roving fiddler, Dave Rainwater. Tickets are $13 for adults, $6 for youths, and free for children 5 and under, including park admission.
Santa's Starlight Express will depart from Railtown 1897 State Park at 5:30 and 7 pm on Friday and Saturday, November 26 and 27. Cars lit with Christmas lights will be pulled by a steam locomotive decked out with brightly colored lights. The 45 minute roundtrip ride will rendezvous with Santa Claus on his caboose. Santa will climb aboard the train to greet the passengers. Live music will provided by Lori Brandon, Ron DeLacy and the Gold Rush Balladeers. Tichets are $24 for adults and $12 for youths. Children 2 and under traveling in a lap are free. First class tickets are also available for $30 adults and $15 for youths.
