This is a community off of Hwy. 30A. Although located in Walton County it carries zipcode 32413.
You can hop on a bike and ride or walk along the bike trail (19 miles from end to end) on Hwy. 30A. It is easy to take in nature along the path and enjoy the State Parks or just stop for lunch at George's or grab a quick drink at the Fonville Press.
Alys Beach is probably the most upscale neighborhood along the 30A route. It isn't finished yet with most residences on the North Side of the beach highway, but now seeing some building going on on the south side too.
The pool area at Alys is not a public pool area except for at night when it is transformed into an outdoor restaurant around the pool called Caliza. It is a new urbanist town that features Digital Graffiti Art spectacular once a year and also one of the best Halloween Parties in town.
I had an opportunity on MLS Tour this week to view a spectacular home priced at $1,295,000 that offered 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a wonderful outdoor space with its own pool and outdoor kitchen. It truly is a place to visit.
