Short Sale Contact Information

It's freaky Friday here on Short Sale Power Hour. Lots of people ask us if we have contacts they can use. I don't know how many times we can say this but Google is your best friend. You can also use Jigsaw, Short sale Super Stars, and other places to find contacts. You can also find other ways to communicate with people on social networks like Facebook.

We have also recently learned that Linkedin is a great resource to use as well. It is literally a global directory used in the business realm. It's kind of like an online resume. There are many top executives at BofA, Chase, and Wells on Linkedin. There are top executives at smaller lenders too. You might find a home address or a cell phone number or an email address as well. If you are having problems with a file and nobody is listening to you at the bank, call them at home. Don't abuse it, but it is another resource.

So what if the person you are calling isn't in the short sale department. Contact them and see if they can help you find a contact in the short sale department. If you haven't used Linkedin yet, we would encourage you to check it out.

We got the actual address and phone number of Navy Federal Credit Union from a TV commercial. Eventually, we had his direct phone number, his secretary's phone number and his email address. Our good buddy Saul Carter gave another great solution on last Wednesday's episode. Go check that out if you want to see it. We will have some special guests next week from Austin, TX at Keller Williams Masterminds. So, check us out next week. Have a great weekend!

Wow, I am glad to have found your blog. Contacts are huge - I enjoyed the Power Hour Video (I subscribed) I have a question regarding when and how you use the HAFA program. I had mostly ignored the possible benefits of the program and then starting getting hit with a rash of banks/bank approvals wherein the banks are reserving their rights to pursue deficiencies. This cannot happen with HAFA. Can you answer the following in an upcoming power hour?: 1) When we initially engage BOA on the Equator System, can you apply for a HAFA short sale on that system or is this done outside of Equator; 2) Is the HAFA program the first step in everyone's approach to a short sales regardless of what bank they are dealing with, i.e, apply under HAFA first and then go into the regular short sale program second? Thoughts?
