Customer Satisfaction still looms large among Homeowners

Under the Quick Takes section of The Residential Specialist magazine, according to Bankrate, “Even amid falling home prices and a struggling economy, 90 percent of homeowners say they do not regret purchasing their current home.”

As a Colorado Springs Realtor, I have noticed this same customer satisfaction trend for the past 14 years relative to those who purchase real estate market in Colorado Springs.

As an unspoken rule, whenever you enter the real estate market, no matter its condition, then it’s usually the best time for you to make that very important home purchase. You can’t entirely gauge your success or failure about buying a home based on the lowest of lows regarding home prices, and conversely, as this logic equates to the higher side of your purchase. Several variables are always considered when making a prudent home purchase.

Also taken from this brief article, as far as the 10% who regret buying their homes, two reasons come to mind as to why – having an inability to sell their home or being unable to make continued mortgage payments. Of course, these financial constraints cause stress for any homeowner.

This is still a wonderful time to make a home purchase for 2011. One word of caution however…Be sure to plan out the long-terms details about your financing to avoid any tendency toward regret.
