City of Columbia residents can now recycle used cooking oil from Thanksgiving — and every other day of the year — through a new cooking oil recycling program called Southern Fried Fuel.

The program is designed to give participants an understanding of the fundamentals of project management, said Lee Stogner, who leads the Engineering Cluster for New Carolina.
