Adam Waldman, put a challenge out to us, to write about how our lives have changed because of Activerain. So let me count the ways, because of Activerain....
1) I sleep less
2) I have great associations and friends all over the county
3) I have gained business
4) I have given referrals
5) I have grown in knowledge of SEO, from Laurie, Karen and Brad.
6) My Google ranks are 1000% better
7) I have learned to create my own real estate tours, both business and personal
8) I have enjoyed rekindling my passion for writing
9) I have learned much more about mortgages, staging, and fraud.
10) I have learned about many Activerainers in their memes.
However, the top reason that my life has changed because of Activerain, is that I am now on the receiving end of technology. For many years, in my office, I was the go-to person for all things technology. Agents came to me with questions all the time, with "how do I do this, how I do that, which web site is best," you name it. I beta tested for the Ann Arbor Board of Realtors and RE/MAX International.
I have always loved helping agents out, but I was starving and I didn't know it. In December, of last year, I stumbled upon the blogging platform called Activerain. So I jumped in, and signed up. 
I fell in love with Activrain, almost from the start. The more I read, the more I learned, the more I commented, the more I found people that I could connect to. I was like a hungry puppy who wanted more, more, and more.
I continue to be on the receiving end about technology and how to grow my business. My cup runs over. I have implemented fantastic ideas that have helped grow my business. I have bookmarked a TO DO list for the slower times of the year, knowing I'll probably never get to implement it all.
My Favorites Box is full of blogs, services for technology, gadgets, meezes, pluggo, poll daddy, widgets, site counter, site counters, site maps, web link validation, web link checker, logos, web site analyzer, Google page rank, Google Alerts, Google calendars, carnivals, contests, blogging, foreclosures, short-sales, FHA, vflyers, meta-tag analyzer, importing uTubes, video's.
Ok, you get the point.
We all know it is "better to give than receive", but it is wonderful to be on the receiving end. Thank you, Activerain and all the multitude of people here that I have gleaned idea's from. I have received more than I can ever possibly give in return. You have enriched my life, made me laugh, made me cry and fed me.
