Yesterday, after I attended Long Grove's tree lighting ceremony and listened to the unbelievable carolers, I strolled into one of my favorite Long Grove Shops. Trio(one of my next blog posts will be dedicated to this gorgeous ladies boutique) where I was talking to the store owner. She informed me that the Long Grove shops will be open until 7:00pm during the holiday season. She also told me about Long Grove's new website... www.visitlonggrove.com. On Long Grove's website, you can enter a chance to win a $1000 gift certificate to ... you guessed it... the shops of Long Grove. The Long Grove website highlights everyone of the great Long Grove shops, events, and directions.
If you are ever need a mood pick-me-up during the middle of a long week, visit the gorgeous town of Long Grove. (the town is all lit up) sip delicious apple cider and taste the most unbelievable apple donuts at the Apple Haus, It's really a treat! The historical charming Village of Long Grove has adorable shops with one-of-a -kind gifts. If you live in Long Grove, come support your town... if you don't maybe you will want to check it out. As long as I'm on the subject of Long Grove... I just wanted to remind you of the Long Grove Turkey Trot this Thursday beginning and ending at the covered bridge. Although the stores won't be open... its a good chance to come and see the wonderful town of Long Grove Illinois
