Attention Downsizers in Los Angeles and Orange Counties: Do you want to sell your big home in one county and buy a smaller home in another California county?

If you want to move to a different county, you may still be able to retain your current assessed value for property tax purposes. Proposition 90 allows downsizing home owners to do just that, if moving between any of these counties:
- Alameda
- Los Angeles
- Orange
- San Mateo
- San Diego
- Santa Clara
- Ventura
