We have all been there, Can't find the phone and can't call it because we don't have a land line any more. Well, someone out there has solved that problem for you. This is great, we have a lot of brilliant people out there!!!!
We've all been there...you're getting ready to leave and you start the final checklist before "departure".
For me, the list is pretty simple....1. Keys:2. Wallet:3. Messenger Bag: (sometimes referred to as a "man"-purse or "murse" that's OK...I can take it)4. Phone: .....(phone?)............(where's my damn phone??)!Now, I may be late to the party on this service, but a good friend told me about icantfindmyphone.com today. Have you heard of this? Recently, I made the decision to go wireless at home...not just with the internet, but also with my phone service. I finally decided to ditch my landline about a week ago. I have to admit, albeit extremely freeing (not to mention one less bill to pay...and a fairly useless one at that), it was a little weird letting it go at first. What if I needed to fax something? (Wait...I can't recall the last time I faxed anything...perhaps 2006?). About the only thing my land-line remained good for was using it to call my cell phone so I could locate it's chirping signal.."here I am...here I am"!Someone Somewhere is always thinking of Something brilliant to fill in where there is a need. And in this case, a simple yet clever service was born. Like I said, I'm sure I'm "late" to the party on this one, but if you haven't tried it yet, please do. It may also be the missing link for anyone considering ditching their land-line and going completely wireless at home.
