Success in the Rain

Thanksgiving is just around the corner.  Last night I attended a performance by my king, Dave Matthews at a local mall.  Random, right?!?  The new Microsoft store opened and he was there to kick it off.  Anywho....he was talking about how we should be thankful for all the things around us and it really got me thinking.  I have so much to be thankful for.  Health, work, friends, love, family....everything seems to be in alignment.  The pessimist in me keeps waiting for the bubble to burst but I've decided I'm going to enjoy this ride.

ActiveRain has a ton to do with my happiness and success.  It's furthered my social media education, put me in touch with lifelong friends and provided me with an amazing environment to work in.  Margaret Woda said to me recently, "I bet you didn't know you'd have your dream job on your first interview."  She's right...I had no idea that I would be a part of something so much bigger than I ever anticipated. 

Every Thanksgiving dinner we go around the table and share with one another what we're grateful for.  This year I'll be taking a bit longer than usual.
