How will you spend Thanksgiving?

By
Real Estate Agent with Rental Solutions Oahu

Since I moved to Waikiki, Hawaii, almost 2 years ago, my holiday traditions have changed. I do not have family here and do not know alot of people.

Usually for holidays, I go to a friends house or just put together a BBQ at the beach. It does not seem the same to me, but still is fun.

I am happy as this Thanksgiving my parents are coming to join me for Thanksgiving. It will be a fun time and good memories too. I am going to the mainland for Christmas and back to Waikiki, Hawaii for New Years.

Holidays are alot of fun wherever you are. It is a good time to relax, reconnect, and make good memories. Aloha!

BBQ and the beach always rank high.  We have an annual dodge ball tourney.  Kids vs. Adults.  It gets dirty but totally wild and fun and keeps away the sleepy turkey feeling.

I know what you mean, living away from family doesn't make much fun for holidays. I'm happy you will get to be with family this year. Enjoy!
