John - That's wonderful! I love living in the #15 safest city in the country. Thx for stopping by; I really appreciate it.
As Gomer Pyle used to day, "Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!" With all the negative press that LA/Ventura gets it is nice to see that the facts point out that this is a great place to live.
Donne - it's great we're still in the top 20 here in Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley! This is truly a terrific and SAFE place to live! Thanks for the list! :) And Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
Temecula made it on the list :) Although I am surprised it is 46 :)
Simon - I know, I get so tired of hearing how bad it is to live here and while I won't deny that we do have some issues here in Cali but we do have some redeeming qualities too.
Kathy - As a Simi Valley resident for nearly 15yrs now, I love it here and feel so absolutely safe here too.
Tom - Yeah, I saw that too and Murrietta is also on the list too.
Thx for stopping by folks; I really appreciate it. Have a wonderful weekend everyone. :)
Donne - Happy to be in a county with two of the safest cities. Moorpark used to be on here. I am actually surprised to see that a few others are not on here. I don't know how the numbers are calculated other than the Census Bureau.
Ken - the nujmbers are actually calculated from the FBI crime data and stats. I actually don't recall Moorpark ever being on the list though. Thx for stopping by Ken; I really appreciate it.
