Holiday Lights at Tohono Chul Park - Things to Do in Tucson
The holidays start this week at beautiful Tohono Chul Park, in Tucson, AZ!
Experience the beauty of a mild winter evening in the SW, with over a million lights illuminating your way throughout 49 landscaped acres that make up Tohono Chul Park. Holiday Nights is an annual event, and you can meander through the paths sipping hot cocoa or a glass of wine - all the while enjoying the lights and music of the season.
Live performances will be provided by Way Out West, Gabriel Ayala, Mark Holdaway, Will Clipman, The Southern Arizona Women's Chorus and Learn to Tango.
This week, November 26th and 27th, the Ballet Tucson troupe will provide a reading from The Nutcracker in the Garden for Children.
Ornaments for sale, and a silent auction will also be held in the park's gallery. Regional artists have created and donated unique holiday decorations in order to raise funds for park's mission.
Holiday Nights at the Tohono Chul Park takes place on November 26 and 27, and also December 3 and 4. The event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., and the cost is $7 for members, $10 for non members. Children 12 and under may visit for $2. 7366 N Paseo del Norte, Tucson, AZ
