One reason is that our unemployment rate is 5% vs the average for the US stands at 9.6 as of October 2010...that may be why you are moving here.
Fairfax County is Virginia's economic engine ....but there is more to see in our area than tail lights and tail pipes and plenty of interesting things to do.
The Capital of the Free World is one of our suburbs after all.
We do not have an ocean or desert at our doorstep, but we have pretty much everything else you might want.
Great schools, great paying jobs and entrepreneurial opportunity, every ethnic restaurant that you might be craving....
.....as well as mega International food stores that sell the raw materials to make your own cultural extravaganza.

The following pictures were taken 45 (non rush hour) minutes from the high tech corridor that surrounds Dulles Airport.
The towns of Chantilly, Herndon, Reston and Ashburn provide one of the hottest job markets in the area but are within an easy drive of Northern Virginia's horse, vineyard, and farm country to the west. Acres of pastures surrounded by hand laid cement free stone walls lead you to the entrance to the Shenandoah Valley.
So, do not fear if you are moving here!
