First Time Home Buyer - Why Now?

First Time Home Buyer Incentives

Just because the first time home buyer tax incentive has expired, don't think there is still not opportunity.

There are several programs that the first time home buyer can get into a home with 100% loans. No need to save for that large down payment.

The VA has a program for members of the armed services that allows them to get into a home and actually have the closing costs and more covered by the seller.

There is also the USDA that has programs for low-moderate income families that are buying their first home in rural areas, such as Barnstable County.

These and other programs along with historically low interest rates, give buying power to many that may think owning a home is out of reach.

With the holidays upon us, there are fewer buyers in the market, so competition may be in the buyer's favor.

If you or someone you know is veteran or part of the armed services, or any first time home buyer, NOW is a good time to buy your home.
