The delectable Gaia's Greens salad features organic greens, dill, parsley, oregano, mint, cucumber, red onion, carrots and cherry tomatoes, while the Green Lentil Curry tantalizes even the most discerning palate with it's offering of protein-rich green lentils, simmered in an exotic ginger-coconut curry sauce - served with cinnamon-pear chutney, fresh collard leaves and steamed vegetables. The mission of Chakra 4 Herb & Tea house is to raise consciousness and empower the community with the knowledge of how to care for themselves - body, mind, spirit - through the use of herbs and healthy foods - and that mission is exemplified by the careful thought and decision-making that goes into the preparation of each and every menu item. Chakra 4 ensures their menu is full of healthy food items by using organicly-grown produce (often from local sources) and abstaining from pseudo-healthy (yet alarmingly popular and widely-accepted) food items such as textured vegetable protein, by utilizing only organic extra virgin unfiltered cold pressed olive oil, and by salting the food with mineral salt - which is much lower in sodium than sea salt or commercial salt - just to name a few of the measures taken by owner Kita Centella (pictured left) and vegetarian chef Justin Berry in order to uphold the Chakra 4 mission.
