As a Realtor, I have connected over the years with many professionals.
These professionals see value in me because I am in the business of knowing homeowners. Each one of those homes needs a plumber, an electrician, landscaper, etc..the list goes on and on. So as the agent, I am in the center of this sphere due to the nature of my relationship with all these homeowners and buyers.
Networking is part of life as a Realtor.
If your not connected then you are not in the right line of work. Networking allows me the opportunity to provide speedy service by link them with the best local pros who have gotten the job done time and time again. Naturally the homeowner benefits here as well because they know that I'm not gonna associate my name and reputation with a tradesman who does not meet my own personal standards.
After all, if the client didn't trust my recommendation they would not have ask my opinion in the first place years after a transaction..
