Just this week another record setting week for real estate in Shreveport and Bossier city. While the rest of the nation seems to be cooling down, we seem to be heating up. A couple of things I have noticed...Agents are leaving the business. I guess the days of being an order taker are gone...for now. The higher end homes in Shreveport and Bossier...$350,000 and up are selling, despite what the news is leading us to believe. Thirdly, our Association numbers of closed transactions have been steady with the previous two years.
With all that said...I am of the opinion that this is a great time to be buying or selling a home in Shreveport and Bossier City. Just make sure the agent you are dealing with is Full-Time and is working Real Estate.
