If you are int he market to research new 800 homes hotlines for your business I would suggest "buyeraquire"  I just started using them this week and have been impressed.  For about $29 a month with no usage charge, you lose a few of the bells but get most of the needed stuff.  I think it is worth a try.  If you are advertising in publications your listings or putting flyers on homes, I think having a 24 hour automated hotline will increase your calls by at least 4x.  I do belive calling back and asking the correct questions is important, but one must crawll before they can walk!

A lot of communities do not allow extra riders, so having an 800# rider does not always help us.

I know a few realtors in my area who have them, and they are not all that impressed.  Although, the new VOIP system my company unveiled have 800 numbers as an option included in the package

Tell me more about the VIOP and what changes they have made.  I can just tell you I went from getting 2-3 calls a week off my signs to getting over 100 calls a week to my 800 number.  My buyers leads have been so numerous that I am now hiring a buyers agent to take the work!
