Less than $100K
For less than $100,000, you could purchase single-family one-story traditional brick homes with 2 or 3 bedrooms. They are typically starter homes at a little over 1,000 square feet.
$100K - $150K
The houses in this price range will most likely be in the 3-bedroom, 2 bath sizes. At the higher end of the range, and if you comb the area well enough, you could expect some updated features most buyers will enjoy such as designer paints, laminate or hardwood floors. Fireplace is also a typical feature in this price range. They are still starter-home sizes between 1,300 to 1,600 square feet.
$150K - $200K
The houses in this price range are typically larger starter homes. On the average, they are 3 bedroom houses with 2 bathrooms. These are typically closer to the 2,000 square feet range, "newer-built" ie after the mid-1990s. 4 bedroom houses can also be common or 3 bedroom houses with the office/ study option. Formal dining rooms begin to become common in the higher end of the price range. Houses in this price range have up-to-date features like designer paints, garden tub, and updated kitchen. These are typically stll single-story homes.
$200-$350K
At the lower end of this price range, buyers can expect 3 or 4 bedroom houses, some with the gameroom/ media room option on the 2nd-level. They call these 1 1/2 story homes. Two-story smaller homes start around the 2,300 - 2,400 square feet in the low 200Ks and large two-story homes (over 3,000 - 4,000 square) at the higher end of the spectrum. For buyers looking at "super-high upgrades" homes can find them in this category. For around $300K, you should be able to find one with the latest kitchen design: granite countertops with custom wood cabinetry, hardwood and tile flooring, swimming pools, upgraded covered patios and beautifully landscaped curb appeal.
$350-$500K
These continue to mimic the $200 - $350K category and depending on location. Some of these houses may sit on better locations: golf courses, or lake views. Some are also in gated communities of Frisco.
$500-$1Million
This begins the luxury Frisco real estate market. Large 5 - 7 bedroom homes, typically over 4,000 square feet with everything a buyer would want in the house. 3 - 4 living areas are common, austin stone elevations, whirlpool jetted tub, handscraped hardwood floors, elegant spiral staircases, etc.
Million Dollar Properties
The highest end of the luxury market is just unbelievable. Typically in a gated community with 24-hour security guard access. We call them Estates. Remarkable luxury homes with no detail left for buyer to complain. Many homes in this market mimic European or Spanish/ Mediterrenean architecture and interior designs. Some with old world Italian charm. Fountains, pools and any type of water feature buyers may want. Inside and out, there is just nothing less than extraordinary for its homeowners.
