14 Comments on Mother Nature's Antidote to Holiday Madness
Very good advice Norma. Not sure where I will find mine, but I'll be looking for it!
Norma....The holiday season is so filled with going, doing, giving and sharing that we do need to take a moment and find some serenity. The picture is beautiful...Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
What a beautiful photo. Looks like a great morning. Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving!
Donna - I stumbled across this photo from my trip to Ireland and was immediately taken back to the undistrubed beauty Mother Nature provides. It was a place of peace and serenity to be sure.
Carra - I enjoy the holidays but I also make sure I enjoy a few quiet moments too.
Michael - It was a sight to behold and a day to remember!
Norma,
Having great photos to look at is the next best thing to being really there! Having a great camera handy when you need it is even better!
This a beautiful photo! Thanks for sharing!
Patricia - That's why I love art--it transforms the moment.
With just 36 days left in 2010, Zoey the Cool Cat and I just wanted to stop by and wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving. Hope it’s a great one, with lots of fun and food with family and friends!
Hi Norma,
We just got back from running the Turkey Trot here in Austin and here is what we caught for dinner...Not really, I would not know where to begin as far as preparation ;-D
Of course the serenity sets in when the tryptophan from the turkey sends me straight to the couch!
Happy Thanksgiving from Austin Texas!
Russel - My Thanksgiving was all good--the company, the food and the fun! Hope yours was the same.
Russell - The family meal was wonderful and there were more than a few naps taken after eating our fill of turkey and all the trimmings! Hope your turkey was delicious and your nap the same...
What a beautiful picture. Thanks for reminding us to stop and "smell the roses"
I'm going to enlarge this photo to a canvas art picture for exactly the same reason--stop, inhale, exhale and smell the roses or at least enjoy the view!
