"Staging to Live - Part II"

Home Stager with Stage with Divine Style - Home Staging

The last post we did on "Staging to Live - Part I"  we showed you how we transformed the Living Room for our client.  Creating  a focal point and clearing out the excess furniture and clutter.  We would now like to show you how we Staged to Live the Dining Room of this house.  Here is the before and after picture of our Staging to Live project part II.

Before - The Dining Room was crowded with pictures.  The Dining Room was located just above the Living Room in the split level house.

After - We took away almost all of the artwork in order for the stained glass window (which was the large focal point of the room) to stand out and not be distracted by all the other artwork.

We also moved the tall cabinet over to the right side wall to try and give it a balance since both pieces were on the left side of the room which gave it a titanic feeling.  Our client wasn't sure about taking down all the artwork and moving the cabinet but when we were done she was thrilled.  She said she would have never thought of doing that.

Linda, little changes makes a big difference. And, yes, it does look beautiful - and not so crowded - after removing the artwork.

BTW, Happy Thanksgiving.

Praful,  Thanks for the compliment.  There wasn't as many changes in the dining room as there was in our first blog ("Staging to Live - Part I -Living Room) that we did for this client.  What took the most work was unloading the tall cabinet that was packed full of china and chrystal moving that piece and then loading it back up with the china and chrystal.  We were happy that our client was thrilled with the result.
