You have probably noticed the string of alphabet letters after my name referring to several professional real estate designations I have earned and hold. One of them, the ABR, is the Accredited Buyer's Representative. Professional designations are earned by taking several classes and courses, some on-line and some live, and then passing an exam and paying a fee. Many of these classes are two day events. Earning a professional designation requires a considerable investment of time and money for the REALTOR. Hiring a REALTOR who holds designations will bring added benefit to the consumer through advanced education and the application of best practices and principles.
