If you are done with Turkey leftovers and ready to start the festive season then the Kennedy Krieger Institute "Festival of Trees" at the Maryland State Fairgrounds this weekend is the perfect destination.
November 26th till the 28th Friday and Saturday,
10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cost: $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children ages 5-12. Children 4 and under are free.
The three day Christmas extravaganza offers a wide range of seasonal arts and crafts, gingerbread houses, toy trains and a special visit from Santa Clause. (Santa sighting number 2)
There is also a wide range of different entertainment for all the family.
As the name of the event conveys, this really is a festival of decorated Christmas trees of all kinds.

We had a great time last year. There was so much to see and the activities for the children were abundant.
We did some Christmas shopping and really got into the festive spirit. It is well worth a visit this weekend.
